About this vintage design furniture
This late-1960s smoked acrylic piece is a unique, modernist take on the side table – with it doubling up as a functional magazine holder. The sleek, angular lines of the amber Altuglas acrylic are housed in a trim chrome piping, rustproofed by the Udylite company (USA). This piece originated in Béziers in Southern France, and would be an excellent addition to any room in the home. It is versatile enough to be placed in many different sorts of interior despite its modernist look. It’s in a good condition considering its age, with just a few minor sections of patina and some small scratches.
