About this vintage design furniture
Veneer desk designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe Utrecht, The Netherlands, 1952. The desk type EE02 from the oak series has the characteristic curved plywood legs and underneath the chest of drawers with the dustproof drawers four wedge-shaped legs. Dutch design. Good vintage condition. The writing surface has visual imperfections such as color difference, some light circles and minor repairs to the veneer. All under a layer of lacquer in good condition so the top is uniform and flat. The drawers are neat with some minor repairs to the veneer on the bottom edge of the top drawer (see also attached photos).
