Vintage desk EB04 by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, Netherlands 1950s

A fantastic desk by Dutch designer Cees Braakman, manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1950. This model, named EB04, is an iconic piece of vintage design with an eye-catching style. Made of high quality birch wood in a beautiful light brown colour the desk on bent legs, giving it a beautiful appearance The left storage unit has several drawers that smoothly open and close and reveal plenty of storage capacity. The right door reveals shelves that can slide open for easy reach. The manufacturer’s tag is placed on the inside of the right door, as shown in photos. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a most appealing patina.
