Vintage black and white combination pendant lamp, Czechoslovakia 1960
About this vintage design furniture
Unique ceiling lamp produced in Czechoslovakia in 1960, the so-called Brussels era. This era owes its name to the competition at the Brussels EXPO in 1958, where Czechoslovakia won the gold prize for the best pavilion. This design era marked the years to come in Czechoslovakian designs. This lamp has the typical characteristics of this midcentury design period. The light is made of a white opal glass shield that has black lines and top. The lamp hangs from its original cord. The light works with a single bulb, we had it checked by a professional electrician. So the light is ready to be used. Very nice, original condition.
