About this vintage design furniture
A modernist bedside lamp, an icon of Polish design. Desk lamp in the style of ’Pop Art’, designed by Apolinary Gałecki, produced in the Capital Metal Works No. 2 of the Local Industry in Warsaw in the 1960s. Polish table lamp in the space age style made of steel, chrome-plated and lacquered black, with spindly legs, finished with bakelite. White blown glass diffuser. A fully functional lamp for a single bulb with a large E27 thread. Lamp in good original condition, with visible minor signs of use, scratches, paint damage. The cable has been replaced with a new one, with a textile braid. The lamp is sold without bulbs. Signed item.
