About this vintage design furniture
Lovely midcentury pair of black glass table lamps model RD1323 designed by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors Glass, Sweden 1960s. Inner black crystal glass core surrounded by a clear glass cover. Brass details on top. The lamps are heavy with elegante shape and stunning conical design. Black wiring. Signed Orrefors and RD1323. Measures: 40 cmH (incl bulb socket) x 12 cmL x 8 cmW. Very good vintage condition. Lampshades are not included. Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a talented Swedish lighting designer working at Orrefors glassworks between 1946-1980. He achieved great success with lighting systems for General Motors and the Kennedy Center in the United States.

Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
