About this vintage design furniture
Set of 4 steiner chairs model unesco design by Gilbert Steiner and published in 1962. These chairs were part of the furniture collection of the Royal Saltworks of Arc et Senans. Chairs armchair made of high quality metal with its black tapestry. The backrest has a floating aspect just like the seat giving a UFO look of the design at that time. Armchair not adjustable in height. The chromes have been bricked, the black parts of the legs have been repainted with the original colour and finish, respecting the product in its original design. The skai have been disinfected to remove any traces or dirt from the past. A few small snags on the perimeter of the seats but not affecting the solidity of this covering. Solid, stable and atypically beautiful in their kind, these chairs are really rare, by their design, their condition and the batch of 4 available (sold in batch and not individually).
