About this vintage design furniture
Low table with wrought iron base and enameled lava stone top bearing the signature of Jean Jaffeux , circa 1960.Adept of the unique piece, Jean Jaffeux (1931-2015) is an artist from Auvergne known for his work in ceramics and enamel on lava. We find in this original and colorful table the influences of Jean Lurçat, artist and renowned ceramist whose favorite themes are the sun, the rooster but also a whole bestiary of animals, foliage, etc...
