About this vintage design furniture
EroS Chairs A pair of EroS chairs in cream Lucite and chrome wire designed by Italian designer Philippe Starck and made for Kartell in the 1980s. The steel wire frame has a very refined character, largely thanks to the filigree spacers, and is strongly reminiscent of the Eiffel frame from the famous Eames plastic chair collection by Charles and Ray Eames. The French designer Philippe Starck designed the EroSG chair for the Italian manufacturer Kartell. Born in Paris in 1949, interior architect and product designer Philippe Starck has been responsible for many successful furniture and architectural designs. Italian, early 1980s. Dimensions (cm) : 62 W x 80 H x 53 D. (43 seat height). Condition: It shows some surface marks and the chrome is worn in places, overall in good original condition.
