About this vintage design furniture
Midcentury spherical fireplace made out of heavy wrought iron by Dries Kreijkamp , the Netherlands, 1960s. This Mid-Century Modern fireplace can rotate 360 and is provided with a sliding door making sure no coals or wood can fall out. Kreijkamp was a Dutch artist, with an obsession for natural forms. He is best known for the spherical homes which he designed in 1965. The spheres diameter is 63cm. The base is 60 x 60cm. The total height is 95cm. Note that this is a used fireplace, this shows in the interior giving it true character. This beauty will be shipped overseas insured in a custom made wooden crate. Cost of transport is custom made wooden crate included.
