About this vintage design furniture
Geoffrey Harcourt set of London Combination, model 630, designed in 1969 for Artifort, Holland. The set is new upholstered in a grey, melange furniture fabric by de Ploeg. Aluminium cast legs. Geoffrey D. Harcourt (1935) was trained at the Royal College of Art in London. In 1962, he designed his first series of small office chairs for Artifort. His designs introduced Artifort to the international market for contract design. Harcourt was one of many inspirational designers at Artifort, others such as Paulin, Ruth and Kho Liang Ie all contributed to the succes of Artifort.
