About this vintage design furniture
This iconic service trolley was designed by Herbert Hirche, a Bauhaus student, in 1956 for Christian Holzäpfel KG in Germany, and was later produced by Rosenthal. It consists of a black lacquered steel frame and contains the original wired glass plates.

About the designer
Herbert HIRCHE
Herbert Hirche was a German industrial designer born on April 16, 1910 in Spickendorf and died on April 29, 2002 in Stuttgart. He studied architecture at Stuttgart University and began his career working for the architect Le Corbusier in Paris in 1933.
