Watt is a simple and clever table lamp created by architect and designer Sylvain Dubuisson in 2019. Simple because it has the shape of a simple cylinder. Savvy because the cylinder opening is a unique mathematical model according to which 6 turns maintain proportional speed relationships so that the voids are triangles. The polish of the central shaft reflects the design of the spirals as an anamorphic view and the light projects the shadows of the cut-outs onto the plane of the table. This model is inspired by the project led by Sylvain Dubuisson in 2010, "rue Watt" in Paris, where 21 lamp posts made up of a single cylindrical central shaft in polished stainless steel and an openwork envelope draw the shadows of the interlacing along the rue Watt. The Watt lamp is available in different colours (made to measure). It is available in white, black and orange. It can be operated in pairs (left and right version of the coil starter).
