About this vintage design furniture
This is a beautiful glass bowl, or a jardiniere, from the Midcentury Modern era of Czechoslovakia. Designed by Jiri Brabec for Rosice Glass Union in 1968. The design type 482. The bowl is made of gold pressed glass. Brabec was one of the most respected glass designers in Czechoslovakia. He produced many almost psychedelic designs in his art. His work is often praised by artists as he managed to make mass produced glass items with unique, art like designs. And made the art pieces affortable for the masses. The bowl is in a great shape, but has one small damage. Visible in pictures.
