Set of 5 vintage wicker bar stools by Gian Franco Legler, 1951

Rare set of five bar stools designed by Swiss architect Gian Franco Legler in 1951. The stools have a solid metal frame painted black and hand-woven cane seats and backs - very well made. Absolutely beautiful design classics - with minor traces of time, use ... due to the years and decades. Steel material is intact, well and stably made, some scratches, color changes and abrasion in the black color. Minimal rust on the leg rings. Rattan has one or two small blemishes; minimal marks; see photos.
