About this vintage design furniture
Original String wall unit designed in 1949 by Nils Strinning. Six metal ladders in white with a desk element, a container with sliding doors, a magazine rack and seven shelves. The surfaces are veneered in ash. This original string shelf is much better processed and of a better quality than many wall shelves that have been released in the 50s 60s. In particular this means: – thicker veneer – 2 cm thick shelves – stable shelf holders that compensate slight unevenness – more stable ladders Good restored condition with slight signs of usage. Metal ladders with patina (stripes, scratches and small quirks exist). Desk Width 78 cm Height 42 cm Depth 21 cm Container Width 160 cm Height 201 cm Depth 59 cm 6 shelves 78 x 20 cm 1 shelf 78 x 30 cm
