About this vintage design furniture
Pair of identical vintage Dutch modern lounge chairs in chromed metal and black leather by Gerard Van Den Berg for Rohé (1980, Noordwolde - the Netherlands). All in original condition, checked, cleaned and polished, all in excellent condition. Black leather upholstery is well persevered, and in very good condition, with head pillow intact; The original black wicker seating (imitation wicker) is as new, conforming the unique and sustainable qualities of the material.

About the designer
Gerard VAN DER BERG
Gerrit (Gerard) Van Der Berg (1947-2011) was a Dutch designer known for his modern, functional furniture creations. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as an industrial designer at Gispen, a Dutch furniture company.
