About this vintage design furniture
Rare and unique free-form coffee table signed by Elizabeth Garouste & Mattia Bonetti, "Olympiade" model, designed and made in 1995 by the emblematic duo. Made of wrought iron with a hand-beaten and waxed patina, gold leaf gilded rings, this coffee table is one of the designers' flagship pieces, and is no longer published today. Typical of the avant-garde, offbeat and baroque style of this duo of world-renowned designers. The table is in superb condition and extremely rare. The only Olympiad coffee table auctioned to date was at Artcurial Paris - "20th Century Art Deco & Design Interiors Sale - 17 March 2015", sold for €9,100 excluding costs.
