About this vintage design furniture
Set of four Hans Wegner AP38 "Airport" chairs by A.P. Stolen Denmark in good condition. Exceptional modern chairs. Designed in 1958, on tubular steel frames with chrome boomerang detailing in a sharp triangle on each side of the seat. The seats are upholstered in black leather. Although not designed specifically for airports, this chair got its name from the Copenhagen airport "Kastrup", which is still equipped with similar chairs today. With this tubular steel chair, Wegner proved that upholstered chairs don't have to be big and overstuffed to be comfortable to use.
