About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful late 1950s Danish modern daybed (Model Minerva), designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard Nielsen, produced by France & Son. The item features a teak wooden frame and renewed mustard upholstery. The minimalist look of this sofa is characteristic for the Scandinavian design of that era and can easily fit any interior. The sofa is in very good vintage condition. H.seat 42 cm.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
