Pedersen and Hansen pair of Danish mid century teak floating modernist wall shelves, 1960, each shelf with maker’s label on the back. Very good vintage condition with minimal signs of age and use.

About the designer
Aage PEDERSEN
Aage Pedersen was a Danish designer born in 1906 and died in 1983. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before beginning his career as an industrial designer in the 1930s. He worked for several Danish companies, including the Danish furniture company Fritz Hansen, where he designed many popular pieces of furniture in the 1950s and 1960s.
