Robin Day for Airborne.
Armchair model "675" resting on a black-lacquered tubular metal base in the shape of an inverted V. High backrest in molded plywood, curved to create a curved backrest that extends over the legs to form two curved armrests. Green velvet seat.
Made in the 1950s, designed by Robin Day in 1952.
Consisting of a curved molded plywood back and armrests, he succeeded in bringing them together in a single piece to create a modern, comfortable, minimalist piece with flowing forms.
English work circa 1955.
