About this vintage design furniture
Extremely rare chairs designed by Czech architect Radomir Hofman for the EXPO exhibition in Montreal in 1967. Produced in a limited edition by Ton, the successor of Thonet, these chairs are catalogued as Nr. 615. They are in very good original condition, with only the upholstery having been recently renewed. This model was awarded the “Best Furniture Design” prize in 1967 and was selected for the offices in the Czechoslovakian pavilion at Expo 1967 in Montreal, as well as for the restaurant in the Czechoslovakian pavilion at Expo 1970 in Osaka.
