About this vintage design furniture
Magnificent rectangular extendable teak dining table designed in the 1960s by Swedish designer Nils Jonsson for Troeds.
This model is highly functional in that it can be extended to seat up to 6 people, and features an extension leaf at the end of the table that can be used with or without, making it a versatile dining table.
The table extends quickly and easily by simply pushing the extension part towards the center of the table.

Condition: Very good, the structure has been checked, all surfaces sanded and oiled.
Please note 2 very light scratches on the top which could not be completely erased during restoration (see photos).

About the designer
Nils JONSSON
Nils Jonsson was a Swedish designer who was born in 1927 and died in 2017. He began his career working for a Swedish furniture manufacturer in the 1950s, where he designed solid wood furniture with clean, modern lines. He then founded his own company, Nils Jonsson Möbelfabrik, in 1958, which became famous for its high-end teak furniture.
