Pair of vintage cubical night stands, Czechoslovakia 1960s

Beautiful set of two vintage bedside tables produced in the mid-century modern period of design. Produced in Czechoslovakia in 1960s. The tables are made of cubical shape with one plain door opening and original shelf inside. The tables are finished with beautiful oak veneer with the most wonderful pattern, especially on the front, as well as the top. The tables are finished with a high sheen finish of original shelack. The handles are made of resin and are original from this set. The tables are in a very good condition with only minor use wear. The table on the right is slightly darker shade of the wood, than the table on the left (in pictures). This is a natural color difference and is only visible when the tables are right next to each other. See also in pictures. Beautiful set, ready to be used. Reference : 314456
