A large 1960s modular shelving system ‘Pira’ designed by Olaf Pira for string of Sweden, made of teak and steel.
The piece is a large modular wall system with five wall brackets, four storage cabinets and 11 shelfs. The individual elements of the shelf are interchangeable, which allows it to be put together individually.

About the designer
Olof PIRA
Olof PIRA is a contemporary Swedish designer known for his work with the String furniture brand. He studied design at Lund University before embarking on a career as a freelance designer. PIRA has worked with String since 2013 and has created several iconic pieces for the brand, including the String Pocket modular bookcase and the String Works wall console.
