Impressionistic oil painting by Stephan Kip 1914-1981, from the 3rd quarter of the 20th century. Beautiful work with a representation of the water feature probably somewhere in North Holland. Stephan Kip born in Garoentang Telokbetong (Dutch East Indies) 1914 - 1981 died in Hilversum. Stephanus Marinus (Stephan) Kip lived and worked in Amsterdam and from 1945 in Hilversum. He too was inspired by the Kortenhoef lake landscape. "He was versatile in his choice of subjects, which he depicted in an impressionistic style. Reference : 314112
