Scandinavian sit-group "Minerva" by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen, Denmark. Teak frame with newly upholstered petrol bouclé seat and back. This vintage pieces of furniture can be transformed into a daybed. Emblematic model from the 60s, named "Minerva" after the Roman goddess of wisdom.
Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen were Danish furniture designers who worked together in the mid-20th century. Their designs are characterized by a minimalist, functional aesthetic and the use of high-quality materials. They were known for their innovative use of teak, a wood popular in Danish furniture design at the time. Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
