Original Jantar wall clock, wooden body covered with American mahogany veneer, the clock case contains a mechanism with a pendulum. chrome-plated glass windows, brass mechanism.
Jantar wall clock produced in the Soviet Union in the second half of the 20th century. a beautiful form referring to the art deco style has been modernized in a modernist style with classicist elements. Veneered chest, decorated with interesting painting, clock finished with chrome, dial covered with glass. The mechanism is functional and has been checked by a watchmaker.
The item is in very good condition, fully functional, with minor damage to the veneer, and has slight traces of use. The clock is signed.
