Vintage teak wall unit by Poul Cadovius, Denmark 1960

An elegant teak wall unit with a rare tambour door cabinet by Poul Cadovius from the 1960s. Mastery of Danish craftsmanship is shown in details like beautifully folding tambour doors that, at first glance, appear to be one piece. They open up a spacious interior with an adjustable shelf. The cabinet is lockable with an original, decorative key, which is perfect for places with kids or where one needs the privacy of one's documents or belongings. Additionally, three shelves will provide enough space for books and decorations. This vintage wall unit is entirely modular, and one can adjust the height of all the parts as needed using a simple system of regular slots in the rails. We have made sure that doors work smoothly and all parts fit together. Occasionally, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched badly).
