About this vintage design furniture
In 1977, Philippe Starck created the John Ild model, considered to be Starck's first bookcase design. Its name pays homage to a character from the novel Ubik, written by Philip K. Dick, who features prominently in Starck's work.The structure of the bookcase is made up of two uprights in black metal tubing.
