About this vintage design furniture
Wall mounted cabinet designed by Charlotte Perriand for Les Arcs Ski Resort in France. This stunning 3-door cabinet brings together the beauty of solid pine, laminate, and veneered lacquered panels to create a remarkable piece of functional art. The top features a striking green laminate framed by a solid pine wooden rim. The doors and sides boast a sleek white lacquered veneer, accentuated by large solid pine knobs. This piece is in excellent condition and perfectly matches our similar two-door model, ensuring a seamless and coordinated look.
Charlotte Perriand (1903 – 1999) was a French architect and designer, famous for her sober furniture directly inspired by the mountains and Japan. She brought a new vision to the furniture by removing all the elements that seemed superfluous. Her work aimed to create functional living spaces in the belief that better design helps in creating a better society.
