About this vintage design furniture
Wall cabinet selected by Charlotte Perriand for the ski resort of Les Arcs in France. This stunning two-door cabinet combines the beauty of solid pine, laminate and veneered lacquered panels to create a remarkable piece of functional art. The top features a striking green laminate framed by a solid pine edge. The doors and sides are covered in an elegant white lacquered veneer, accented by two large solid pine knobs. This piece is in excellent condition and matches perfectly with our similar 3-door model, ensuring a seamless and coordinated look.Charlotte Perriand (1903 - 1999) was a French architect and designer, famous for her understated furniture directly inspired by the mountains and Japan. She brought a new vision to furniture by removing all elements that seemed superfluous. Her work aimed to create functional living spaces, with the belief that better design helps create a better society.
