Cassina Bank Model 250 gray melange, design by Piero Lissoni. This sofa is of the 250 series made in the 1980s. The design is by a leading Italian architect, art director and designer Piero Lissoni (1956) in collaboration with Sook Kim. In 1997 Piero Lissoni designed this sofa for Cassina. This elegant, comfortable sofa was one of the first models Lissoni designed for Cassina. The Model has been part of the Cassina collection for 20 years now and has become one of the new design classics. The upholstery can be removed from the sofa by means of an ingenious system with zippers. With this sofa by Cassina, Lissoni shows the essence of design: clear shapes, simple but fascinating lines.
