He was born in Algeria in 1938. He worked in Paris as a ceramist and sculptor assistant. After a stay in the United-States, he opened a specialized shop in the sale of Antiquities in Chelsea with his brother. However, at the end of the 60s, he went back to his first passion; furniture design. His pieces of furniture combine Japan tradition and modernism. He worked for great companies including Bear Terns and British Airways. He also collaborated with Mobilier International (a French manufacturer) and Steelcase. The famous Museum of Modern Art of New York called on his talent.
