Per LÜTKEN

Lütken studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and began working for Holmegaard shortly after graduating. He designed many iconic pieces for the company, including the "Selandia" vase series, which was presented at the 1958 World Fair in Brussels. He also created pieces for other Danish design companies, as well as for international exhibitions.

Lütken's work is characterized by its minimalism and simplicity, and by the use of traditional glass-blowing techniques. His creations have been widely exhibited and awarded, and are considered examples of iconic Danish design.

In addition to his design work, Lütken was also a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where he taught from 1956 to 1960 and from 1973 to 1978. He was also a member of several design organizations, including the Society of Danish Artists and the Danish Society of Designers.
