A pair of Butterfly chairs, an iconic design of Dutch designer Gerard van den Berg, manufactured in the early ’80s by Montis. This very comfortable chair features a metal frame and a brown leather seat. The inspiration of the designer came from making a hollow in the sand on the beach.

About the designer
Gerard VAN DER BERG
Gerrit (Gerard) Van Der Berg (1947-2011) was a Dutch designer known for his modern, functional furniture creations. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as an industrial designer at Gispen, a Dutch furniture company.
