Elegant lounge armchair by Kristian Vedel for Søren Willadsen Møbelfabrik – Denmark, circa 1960. The chair is made of solid Brazilian Rosewood (Rio Palissander) and black leather and still remains in very good condition with normal signs of age and use. About the designer
Kristian Solmer VEDEL
Kristian Solmer Vedel (1923-2003) was a Danish designer, best known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and studied sculpture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
