About this vintage design furniture
Stylish Scandinavian design hanging lamp from the sixties with a black shade, an opaline glass shade and copper detail produced by the Danish lamp manufacturer Lyfa, designed by Bent Karlby. The lamp creates soft and warm light . On top is a nice decorative cap made of copper. It is in good vintage condition with slight traces of use and the copper has got nice patina over the years.

Bent Karlby (1912-1998) was a Danish designer renowned for his contributions to the lighting industry. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he developed his minimalist, functional style.
