About this vintage design furniture
This is a classic pendant light by Carl Thore for Granhaga Metallindustri, Sweden 1970s. White lacquered aluminium with a chrome reflector ring painted orange inside so that it spreads an orange glow around the centre of the light. Some small scratches and marks consistent with time and reflected in the price. The light is rewired for safety and the bottom, anti glare, plastic grid is intact.

Carl THORE was a Swedish designer born in 1917 and died in 2007. He is best known for his glass lighting designs, notably for Flygsfors Glasbruk, for whom he worked from 1947 to 1959.
