About this vintage design furniture
Set of iconic Lollipop dining chairs produced by Tatra company in Czechoslovakia in 1960s. Designed by Frantisek Jirak in the shape of a flat lollipop popular in the Czechoslovakia in 60s. Backrest is in walnut veneer with shiny lacquered finish, wooden base in dark palisander color, original upholstery. Very good condition, only the fabric on the seats shows some wear. Beautiful wood.

Frantisek JIRAK
František Jiránek (1898-1978) was a Czech designer who worked in the 1920s and 1930s. He is best known for his work in furniture design, but also designed objects in glass and ceramics.
