About this vintage design furniture
This iconic sofa has a very streamlined slim teak frame that is complimented by the well shaped cushions. The sofa is in good condition and seem to have been reupholstered in the past in a bright blue wool. Some minor colour differences can be seen in the fabric. The fabric has been cleaned and is in very good clean condition.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
