About this vintage design furniture
Mid century lounge chairs designed by Oddvin Rykken for Rykken and Co of Norway. The chairs feature a leather harness slung from a rosewood frame and buttoned brown leather cushions which attach to the harness via studs. Chocolate brown leather. 97 cm height x 70 cm depth x 81 cm width. Seat height is 41 cm. Good condition. Light wear.

About the designer
Oddvin RYKKEN
Oddvin Rykken (1928-2013) was a Norwegian industrial designer known for his innovative, minimalist work in the 60s and 70s. He studied carpentry and design at the Oslo School of Arts and Crafts, then worked for various design companies in Norway.
