About this vintage design furniture
These 2 tubular steel chairs were made in 1930 by Vichr & Co., Prag in the former Czechoslovakia. The chrome-plated steel tube has been polished and is in a good original condition with patina, the wooden parts have been restored. Very nice restored condition. Seat height: 46 cm.

About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
