About this vintage design furniture
This desk, made of chromed tubular steel, was made by Vichr & Co., Prag in the 1930s in the former Czechoslovakia. The wooden parts have been restored, steel tube in very nice original condition.

About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
