Stunning "Cantharel" table lamp by Maija Liisa Komulainen for RAAK Amsterdam ca. 1970. The name of the lamp refers to the "Cantharel" mushroom. Very rare table lamp with a amazing shape has 9 light sources and is a beautiful object from all sides. When lit, the lamp spreads a beautiful warm glow on each of the nine copper colored hoods and into the room. Marked with manufacturers label

Maija Liisa Komulainen was a Finnish designer who was born in 1932 and died in 2019. She studied at the Helsinki School of Art and Design before starting her career as a textile designer for the Finnish company Tampella.
