About this vintage design furniture
This vintage secretary by Alfred Hendrickx in rosewood and black lacquered wood. The pull-out writing surface is in the same lacquered wood as the drawers. The inside is finished with a glass shelf and lots of open storage space. The bottom half has three drawers with square metal handles. A floating effect is created by the space between the legs and base.

Alfred Hendrickx was a Belgian designer and cabinetmaker who was born in Antwerp in 1910 and died in 1983. He is best known for his elegant modern furniture, which enjoyed great success in the 1950s and 1960s.
