About this vintage design furniture
Set of 2 lounge chairs by Ate Van Apeldoorn in the 60s. The seats and backrests are upholstered in high-quality cognac leather, the backrest is gently attached to the square armrests, creating a feeling of "floating" between the seat and backrest, with minor wear in line with age and use. Sold only as a set Saddle height: 45.

About the designer
Ate VAN APELDOORN
Ate van Apeldoorn was a Dutch furniture designer and manufacturer, born in 1932 and died in 2007. He studied at the Arnhem Academy of Fine Arts and began his career working for the architectural firm Van den Broek & Bakema.
