About this brand new furniture
"The Bestlite BL3 Floor Lamp Ø16cm issued by GUBI was created in 1930 by Robert Dudley Best, a British designer highly influenced by Bauhaus. Paradoxically sober and elegant at the same time, Bestlite BL3 testifies of the simplicity of time. With the articulated arms and its adjustable lampshade, this lamp is the perfect complement for any space of office place of residence or bedside table. This lamp was adopted by the garages of Royal Air Forces thanks to its fickle aspect. Referenced for the first time in the magazine ""Architects Journal"", this lamp has since seduces a general public. This lamp is a part of the permanent collection to museums "" Victoria et Albert Museum "" and ""Design Museum"" in London from now. Loved by everyone, from lovers of the design to the curious amateurs, the Bestlite model is nowadays a great classic of the design furniture. It is presented here in its version of 16 cm in diameter, but exists in other dimensions. Three available types of finish: brass, chromium, black." This is the brass version.
