About this vintage design furniture
This is the iconic series of Swedish designer Carl Thores pendant light called "Trava". The original idea behind the lamps was that you could take them apart and reconstruct them to your liking. This is a slightly smaller version with the opac plastic band at the centre. The designers label is still present on the lower inside of the shade. Great condition with only minor signs of age.

Carl THORE
Carl THORE was a Swedish designer born in 1917 and died in 2007. He is best known for his glass lighting designs, notably for Flygsfors Glasbruk, for whom he worked from 1947 to 1959.
